KASAPI TUGUEGARAO AREA (1st KASAPI HIMIG SA PASKO)

Christmas is the time for giving and sharing, but sharing is not only limited to our loved ones, but sharing is for everyone.

Regional head office Tuguegarao conducted its KASAPI Himig sa Pasko – A reverse caroling and gift giving in the community of Agtas at Barangay Aggugaddan, Peñablanca, Cagayan last December 20, 2019 with the participation of Cagayan Riders Federation (Gattaran Chapter) through Mr. Jeremy Peñalber (BM of Sanchez Mira-MF) that feeds the community, while  45 families were given Noche Buena packages.

A short program was facilitated by Hanisha Gay Beltran, Training Assistant and a prayer lead by Mark Vincent Malig, Training Manager. An opening remarks was given by Benimar Lacambra, Area Manager.

The program successfully ended by leaving smiles on the faces of the beneficiaries. Happy faces were seen on the children as they received candies and chocolates. Indeed, we achieved our goal in conducting this program which is the true spirit of Christmas bringing smiles to the chosen beneficiaries  and as the saying goes “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”

“Remember that the happiest people are not those getting more, but those giving more”

Undeniably RHO- Santiago employees are happier than anyone else on the recently conducted KASAPI HIMIG SA PASKO – A reverse caroling and gift giving activity held at Sefton Village Children’s Home, Inc. last December 21, 2019.

The beneficiaries of the said activity were abandoned children. Upon arriving at the venue, excited and delighted faces of the children welcomed the carolers. They seemed to be overjoyed knowing that God has sent a channel of blessing through KASAPI Group.

As the bags of sunshine were already set up, the carolers started to form their line for the reverse caroling initiated by an opening message delivered by Laarni Contawe, Senior Manager, Training, Education and Transformation Department to enlighten the purpose of KASAPI’s activity.

The carolers then sang their prepared caroling. The children are very delighted by hearing their favorite Christmas songs. After singing, the carolers handed the prepared gift packages that contain necessary supplies for the children such as: Formulated milk, diapers, biscuits, canned goods, bags of rice and Noche Buena packages.

The administrator also gives her message of thanksgiving and a short overview on the mission of Sefton Village Children’s Home.  A simple feeding program was also prepared for the children to end up the program. But, little did we know, the children have also prepared their special number as sign of thanksgiving initiated by their eldest orphan Pepito who sang “Ten thousand reasons” followed by the other children singing “Thank you for the love”.

It was such an overwhelming and happier feeling to see that KASAPI has brought joy and hope to the children who are yearning for so much love and care. Indeed it was a very successful and joyous activity.

KASAPI AGOO AREA (1st KASAPI HIMIG SA PASKO)

One of the ways to celebrate Christmas season is sharing our blessings through gift-giving. Our company, KASAPI Group, has been consistently doing this kind of activity to the less–fortunate people for years now. This year, the company decided to do this gift-giving project in all regional head offices.

RHO – Agoo conducted its KASAPI Himig sa Pasko at San Vicente–San Agustin Elementary School in San Vicente Norte, Agoo, La Union, with the coordination of Parish Council of Basilica Minore of Our Lady of Charity and with the Agoo - DepEd School Nurse, last December 13, 2019.

The beneficiaries of the said gift–giving project were 42 malnourished students and 12 indigent scholars of the said school. The Parish Council also coordinated for the list of names of these students. These chosen students are under the feeding program of the school.

The program proper started by Joel Fernandez,  Training, Education & Transformation Supervisor gave his short opening message to introduce KASAPI and also briefly discussed the gift-giving activity. To break the ice, our team also prepared games for the students.

After the games, RHO Agoo gave a presentation for them through singing different Christmas carols. As we all know, caroling is one of our most common traditions during Christmas season, to make it more special, instead of the usual caroling set-up; our team did reverse-caroling. So after singing, we immediately distributed the gift packages to the students and we also prepared snacks for them. While they were having their snacks, once again, our team gave ice breakers for the students and also for the parents who were there.

After this short but very meaningful program, on behalf of the school, the principal, Mrs. Montemayor, gave her closing remarks by expressing thanksgiving and gratitude to KASAPI.

The gift-giving project was indeed a great opportunity to extend blessings to other people and to remind ourselves the true meaning of Christmas – loving and giving.

REGIONAL HEAD OFFICE KAMUNING CONDUCTS ITS 1st KASAPI HIMIG SA PASKO IN THE COMMUNITY OF AETAS

December is known as the season for giving. This is also known as the time of the year where everyone settles loose ends with a smile and deepens their connection with each other through love, joy, happiness and harmony.

As the season of giving continues, the Kasapi Regional Head Office Kamuning conducted its own version of gift giving through Kasapi Himig sa Pasko in the community of Aetas in Sitio Babo, Angeles City, Pampanga. An event where we relive the spirit of Christmas through giving gifts, smiles, hopes and cares to our less fortunate countrymen.

The program started with a prayer of thanks headed by the Purok Leader Tatay Rabi. He incited their gratitude to the Lord and to their benefactor and prays for their good health and wellbeing. After the prayer, a brief introduction about the event was made by the program head Mr. Joshua Guiller Reinofranco A. Macaraig followed by performances of the community.

During the gift giving activity, the recipients of the gifts shows an ear to ear smile that will last. Giving really makes you feel the magic and love in the air. It relives the compassion and kindheartedness to everyone. It gives you warmth and brightens the atmosphere. Though life is full of struggles and challenges through simple acts of kindness like this we can always hope and look forward for the bright tomorrow.
